City of Edinburgh Council
Our core partnership is with the City of Edinburgh Council. We work with the Council to give added value to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award within Edinburgh.
We work closely with our colleagues in the Sport and Leisure unit, particularly within the Active Schools Programme, to provide opporunities for young people to complete the Physical element for their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
The Green Team
The Green Team are a youth organisation set up in partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Edinburgh to promote active learning through enjoyment in the outdoors.
The Green Team carry out environmental projects centred around a conservation task, with time also spent exploring the countryside and taking part in environmental activities such as art games and crafts.

We have an on-going partnership with them to provide Groundsmanship skills to young people, delivered in partnership with The Green Team, as part of their DofE
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
We have a successful ongoing partnership with the CAMHS unit within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, where we supply a dedicated Development Officer for this work. These are our main partnerships, but through our Youth Development Project our Development Officer, Mo Odling, is working with various organisations across Edinburgh to bring the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to more young people.
